Tim Johnson is the Executive Producer and Host of the Louisiana Business and Industry Show, a weekly statewide television and social media program that reaches an audience of over 1.5 million homes. The show features high profile business leaders; critical and real time information; as well as informative and leading-edge opinions. The goals of the show is to promote Louisiana business and industry; to affect public perception and public policy; to profile business and industry leaders; and to highlight project activity, economic development, and innovation in Louisiana.

Tim has built lasting and deep relationships with decision makers at all levels of business and industry across the United States.
Tim is the leading national consultant for the creation, management, facilitation, and revitalization of industry-based Community Advisory Panels (CAPs), having created more than 30 panels in seven states and has personally facilitated over 1,800 individual CAP meetings. The TJC Group currently manages / facilitates 21 individual CAPs. These CAPs assist more than 70 industrial plants and their management to listen more effectively to, and communicate with, the communities in which they operate.
Tim currently serves in a consulting role as the Senior Director of Governmental Relations for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and is a national spokesperson promoting construction craft training and careers in the construction industry. Tim serves in a consulting role as the Executive Director of the Louisiana Construction Education Foundation (LCEF) and Executive Director of the National Maritime Education Council (NMEC).
Tim’s background includes six years as a lead committee staffer for the Louisiana State Senate and five years as the Director of Business Development for the Construction and Maintenance Division of the Shaw Group. Tim served almost seven years as the Director of Training and then Executive Director for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Pelican Chapter, leading one of the largest privately funded construction craft training centers in the United States with an enrollment of over 1,600 students per semester.
Tim and his wife, Kelly, reside just outside of Baton Rouge and have three children – Hillary, MD and husband Scotty Anderson, Peyton, and Nicholas. He enjoys spending time with his family, LSU athletics, reading political and historical biographies, and running. He sings tenor in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church choir.
